From the December 9th, 1989 issue of Sounds magazine, I've just transcribed "The Magic Circle", an interview with Alex Lifeson given when the album was newly released, where he explains some of the lyrical themes of the album such as those in the songs Superconductor, Anagram, Red Tide, and more.
