Transcript: 'Rush To Play And Help Canadian Rockers Are Into Making A Difference, Not Backslapping' - Wichita Eagle, May 23, 1992

I have transcribed 'Rush To Play And Help Canadian Rockers Are Into Making A Difference, Not Backslapping', a brief story from the May 23, 1992 issue of The Wichita Eagle. A unique interview with Alex Lifeson, it was given shortly after Rush played Berlin for the first time after the wall came down, and also includes his comments on how Rush quietly raised thousands of pounds of food for the United Way, and his thoughts on high-profile rock benefits "It's a wonderful thing that artists get involved, but at the same time there's a lot of backslapping and 'aren't we wonderful?'"

Transcript: 'I Love Phil (Neil Peart on Phil Collins)' - Rhythm, April 2011

I've just transcribed a half page article from the April issue of Rhythm magazine, titled "I Love Phil" by Neil Peart. Part of a spotlight on Phil Collins, Neil looks back on how he was inspired by Phil including seeing Genesis in concert before he joined Rush, and includes a couple of interesting anecdotes on how "Phil and I have actually encountered each other face-to-face, unknown to him, on two occasions, almost 20 years apart".
