Back in 2003, Toronto fell victim to the SARS outbreak, and the Rolling Stones announced they would hold a music benefit festival show to support the city. At the time, Rush was on vacation after the extensive Vapor Trails tour, and Rush fans wondered if they would be included. Accordingly, it was with great relief when Rush.com announced "Rush To Play SARS Relief Event" back on July 3, 2003.
