Transcript: "Ask Big Al" - A Show Of Fans, Summer 1996

In the Winter '96 issue of A Show of Fans previously transcribed and now found in the Archive, Alex Lifeson agreed to partake in an "Ask Big Al" column in future issues of the fanzine. Here is the first of those columns from the Summer 1996 issue, published just before the release of Test For Echo. Although way too brief, Alex shows his usual humor, and he does clarify the influence/usage of Warner Brothers cartoons in La Villa Strangiato: "As the song developed, we decided to flavour certain sections after some cartoon ideas." - Thanks to Mark Rosenthal for the original article!
